About this event

Interested in applying for one of KSJ’s world-renowned science journalism fellowships? The Knight Science Journalism Program will hold a live informational webinar on Thursday, December 3 at 11:00 am EST. The program’s director, Usha Lee McFarling, and associate director, Ashley Smart, will be on hand to take questions about what we look for in candidates and how to best prepare your materials.

This webinar is geared toward applicants for KSJ’s Academic-Year Fellowship. Applicants to the Fellowship for Advancing Science Journalism in Africa and the Middle East are welcome to register and attend, but questions about that program may not be addressed due to limited time.

Registration is required. (Register here )

Applications for the Academic-Year and Africa and Middle East fellowships will be accepted between November 15, 2026 and January 9, 2027.
