Set powerful intentions for the season ahead—both individually and as a community. We’ll honor our ancestors, call in abundance, and elevate the vibration of love and healing together. Wear white to symbolize new beginnings, and feel free to bring a photo or offering for the altar (optional).

What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?

Afro Flow Yoga weaves together the ancient wisdom and healing practices of African dance, yoga, and ancestral rhythms to create trauma-informed, high-vibrational, transformative experience like no other. Dive into the heart of our community and explore a fresh, powerful way to connect with your true essence and elevate your well-being.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Leslie is an Alvin Ailey trained dancer, yoga practitioner, teacher, and wellness coach. She speaks, coaches, and teaches internationally and in addition, is a co-creator and faculty member for the annual Omega Women’s Leadership Intensive. Jeff is a professional engineer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and musical director who has traveled the world.

Finish this statement: I am passionate about teaching this style because…

It was the connection with African spirituality, yogic principles, the intrinsic expression of movement through nature’s elements and a transformational journey throughout Africa and the Caribbean, that inspired Leslie and Jeff to create Afro Flow Yoga® in 2008
