Publishing and patenting can work together, if you plan for both. This talk by Celia Harrison, PhD, JD, and the Executive Director of IP & Licensing at BU will cover the choices researchers can make about when and how they share their work so that publication and patent protection both remain possible. Along the way, this talk will cover patent eligibility, enablement, and supporting examples, from a life sciences perspective, but applicable to all technologies.
