Be in Person: Stories That Bridge

About this event

An Emmanuel College and Everyday Boston Collaboration

Every person has a story. Come listen to a story. Encounter a perspective.

As part of this year's Wyant Professorship theme, Be in Person , Emmanuel College is partnering with Everyday Boston , a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to building connections across differences through the sharing of life stories, to bring members of The Bridge Project to our campus.

The Bridge Project works in partnership with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals to develop communication skills, strengthen their sense of belonging, and create opportunities for meaningful community engagement.

On Tuesday, December 1, during activities period , we invite you to stop by the JYC Atrium and visit a Conversation Station.

Take a few minutes between classes, meetings, or daily activities to pull up a chair, listen to someone's story, and join the conversation.

Bring your curiosity, your openness, and your willingness to encounter another person's experience.
