Weedout/Planting at Window on the Mystic

About this event

Join us every first Sunday of the month for invasives removal on this scenic Town of Arlington property overlooking Upper Mystic Lake. Target invasives include burning bush, wintercreeper, and bittersweet, among others. (for parking see below)

Personal protection: Water - sturdy gloves - hat & fully protective clothing - eye protection -repellents & sunscreen

Equipment: shovel - loppers - bow or garden saw - hand pruners - weed wrench or equivalent - black plastic bags . (Bring any equipment you have)

PARK: From Mystic St, turn on Robin Hood Rd, just before the Trail Head. Park on Parker St. and walk back up to Mystic St. to the trailhead. (You can drop off supplies at the entrance on Mystic St. before parking.)

IMPORTANT! Forgot? You can bring to the event.

• Waivers must be signed each calendar year. So sending once for the current year is all that's needed.
